Neuroscience

From the insights of neuroscience, now we can design more effective learning methods based on how the brain works. For example, we simplify and limit the amounts of our materials because our brains select only meaningful information to be processed further, leaving the rest of the details out. Too much information is useless for effective learning.

Psychology

The foundation of both people development and people engagement is rooted in the field of psychology.
By understanding the fundamentals of human psychology, we can tap into motivations, interests, and habits in different settings or roles (offices, online, new managers, etc.) so we can develop better methods in trainings or engagement activities.

As with every strategy and technique in every field, there will always be a trade-off. As lifelong learners ourselves, we humbly accept this fact, and to help you decide whether Lab C is the right solution for your needs, we list down our trade-offs below, number-by-number comparisons:

What you will gain:

  1. Our materials are designed to be as practical as possible to be consistent with the Andragogy principles.

  2. We intentionally come up with as few materials as possible to allocate more time and energy for drilling down the essentials.

  3. With the approach explained above, learners will be conditioned to think for themselves. The learners are encouraged to be independent thinkers who can use the mental tools according to their own situations.

What you might lose:

  1. Even though our programs are highly applicable, we rarely provide a ‘quick-fix’ or step-by-step ‘formulas’.

  2. We do not provide complete available methods on a subject as academic lectures do. We pre-select the best-possible solutions based on our needs analysis of the learners.

  3. Lab C might not be at optimum use if the learners are passive.
